Halleluyah, You are risen with Christ.

 

Text: Mathew 28:2 (KJV)

And behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door and upon it.

There is a point we should seek to know Him more. The resurrection power is very powerful that there was a sudden violent shaking on the ground but the God behind that power is much and more powerful that we must seek after. The angel rolled back the stone and sat on it as the earth shook. The force is so much that every limitation was uprooted to give way for the resurrection of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. This just means that Jesus is coming back to life with all spiritual and physical benefits attached to the resurrection package. He walked out of dead corpse and dead people and out of dead folks.

Humanly speaking, it is impossible for one to rise up from the dead, but with God all things are possible as our Lord Jesus defiled all natural laws, that is why God wanted to reveal more of his power to all mankind by the resurrection of Jesus Christ as he reconciles man back to God by this one sacrifice. So, you are risen with Christ too.  The fact that Jesus died and rose from the dead means, he left the old self and became a new man. Romans 6:4- Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Therefore, Christ was raised so we can walk and live a new life.  The old version of us has died, but the new version of us is now exhibited because of this same resurrection power.  We need to realize that by the resurrection power what we are now living in is the new version which is the risen Christ, the old version (self) is dead, but we as Christians need to accept the fact that we are a new version and start to live like the new self because the yoke of sin is finally broken as we are to live a Christ-like life with ease in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS:                                                                  

1.      God, please help us to live our life in a Christ-like manner in Jesus name.

2.      God, help us to leave the old version of ourselves aside and live the new version which you have destined for us which lead Christ to the Cross in the Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Don’t abuse the freedom because Christ paid dearly with His life. It is not cheap.
