His resurrection POWER.

Text: Hebrews 9:14(KJV)

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

In this journey of life, there are some attitudes we cannot stop by our efforts but his death and resurrection has done it. But here is the good news, due to the blood of Jesus we can be free from these patterns because His blood purges our conscience from every dead works as part of the benefit of the risen Jesus. This results in us being new in Christ and we end up serving God better. The dead works here entails carnal things which can never please God and the reason for this is, because they are not spiritually minded and are against God’s commandment. They are fleshly things which are enmity to God and they result in us being away from God. Romans 8:8- So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.The amazing fact is, our involvement with Christ takes away every condemnation because of the old life of walking after the flesh but the stone of sin is rolled away. So this means all those guilt and condemnations which are hindering our service are rolled away. The life that we have with Christ makes us no more slaves to those dead works.

Remember, if there are dead conscience that means there should also be good conscience. The scripture encourages us to purge our thoughts and imaginations, so that we can yield good product as God purges us from within. . Proverbs 16:25- There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.Those dead conscience leads to destruction while good conscience leads to life and peace, which is our inheritance by his death and suffering. Remember, our works whether good or bad is what makes us significant in life,therefore allow the blood of Jesus to flow as to redeem us; without it all efforts are worthless. So always remind yourself that the blood of Jesus and the Cross arethe only cleanser and sanitizer for right living. So,yield yourself today to the resurrection power of Jesus in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.      Father, purge us from dead conscience and cloth us againas we are risen with Christ in Jesus name.

2.      Oh Lord, please cause a spiritual repair in our lives that will settle all questionable characters in us by your death on the cross in Jesus name.
