Text: 2Chronicles 20:12
O our God, wilt thou not judge them? For we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do; but our eyes are upon thee.
In the circumstances of life when you are confronted on every side, we should remember to enquire from the Lord. When our faith is small and we want to give up, where do we look up to? Is our hope and might on the creator of the universe? Friends, we are actually helpless without God. Though, it is the nature of man to run to God at difficult moments. But it is a wrong time to look up to the strength of God rather it should be our way of life by enquiring and depending on God for direction daily. It is a covenant deal that we should sign when all is well because God’s might is carrying us. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me. You should have a form mind of determination to avoid conflict of action, because we are always confronted with confusion on the direction to receive strength at all times. It is in the midst of the challenge that your commitment is being tested. You might not remember God at that thickest moment because several options are played out as a way of escape.
Amazingly, there are dangers on the journey of life which are secret to us but not hidden from God’s mighty power. Our God knows and sees all the secret affairs in life so, we cannot hide from God. That is, why we must depend absolutely on God because He is the strength and oil we need to continue in life at the time of grieve and hopelessness. We are able to overcome those big and little crises because of the big God that we are focused on. And we should continue to stir on His face to gain power. Psalm 25:15 Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord: for he shall pluck my feet out of the net. Adversities in life are either to make you or mare you but where do you look to? Unpleasant situations happen without prior signals, but we need to be loaded to stand out in the face of challenges. Your confidence in a matter is based on the knowledge and exposure you have on that subject. There is every need to have personal experience of His faithfulness and impact on those little issues around you. If you can proof Him reliable on that very concern now, then you can trust Him on the bigger issue. You can grow your trust on Him over time if you have experience of His mighty hand upon you in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1.Oh Lord help me to depend and anchor our strength on God for victories over the battles of life in Jesus name.
2.Father give us calmness to stand and trust on your covenant relationship in Jesus name.
