He is UNCHANGEABLE.

Text: Hebrews 6:18 (KJV)

That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us.

In life, we encounter people on a daily basis who make promises, but they always fail to keep their promises. It is amazing because although we encounter those people today, we still end up going to meet another set of people tomorrow and we experience the same thing over and over again. We do not learn from our mistakes, but instead we make more mistakes. We need to change those habits, and by doing so, we can encounter the one who can never never fail or go back on His word, who is God. He is an immutable God, which means He is unchanging from generation to generation. Malachi 3:6- For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. The truth is, seasons and times change, but He never changes. Hebrews 13:8 (ERV) - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If you still doubt this great God, you can search the scriptures and trust God for personal experience about Him, and you will see that His words are reliable and dependable. This means whatever He has promised that is still hanging it will surely come to pass because delay is never denial. Keep holding on Him because He is more than dependable. He is true to His Word to all races and kingdom. 

The major reason why we fail to get these promises is because we doubt His ability in our heart and confess confidence with our mouth and this result in delay in our blessings. Beloved, we should anchor our soul on his steadfastness and be assured of his capacity. The truth is, these promises will not change, but our actions can delay them, and this is why we need to repent from our old habits. Romans 11:29-For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. We need to be confident in Him, and hold fast and strong to His words. Also need to have the singleness of our minds so as to receive these promises and let our hearts be rooted in His words so that we do not waver due to the pressures of this world. God will help us, in Jesus name. 

PRAYER POINTS: 

1.Father, please help us not to doubt your promises in the scriptures no matter the obvious reasons in Jesus name.

2.Oh Lord, please help us to lay our hope on God so as to stand by your promises, in Jesus name.
