Text: Revelation22:13(KJV)
I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.
Our text of today shows us the comprehensiveness of our God. This scripture also shows us that time and space cannot limit Him because He is the unlimited God and the all-inclusive God. His power cannot be comprehended, and His glory cannot be shared with anyone. He is our creator and the reason for our life in this world, which means we all need Him because it is in Him we live and can operate from. Genesis 1:1- In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Since He is the creator of the universe, that means He has the final say. I tell you, life without Him is worthless because the joy and peace found in Him are everlasting and eternal. The question you should ask yourself is, do I operate under Him or under the worthless source of life which is only temporary? We must allow Him to take His place as our Alpha and Omega. He is our shepherd and our shield. In life, He is declared as the Eternal Word. He is the A and Z of our lives that means the first and the last. From the scripture above, the Lord Jesus identified Himself with three pairs of titles - I am Alpha and Omega, I am the beginning and the End, I am the First and the Last. Isaiah 44:6- Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. We must therefore run our lives at the centre of His will, not in part or outside Him so as to live stress-free.
Interestingly, He is self-existing and self-sufficient in nature. Him alone is worthy of our praises; that is why we must connect to his leading. In the human race, no one can declare to himself this identity. The truth is, our God is super girded by His glory, and it is possible to be connected to Him; all we just need to do is to live and lean at the centre of His plan. Also, remember to allow Him to be the ALPHA AND OMEGA of your life, and I tell you, your lifestyle will be impactful and fulfilled by His grace.
PRAYER POINTS:
Father, may I truly reflect on who You are and the sovereignty of Your majesty in Jesus name.
Oh Lord, help us not to trust the graven images but in You the living God in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Ask yourself, are you at the beginning of His plan or at the end?
