Stand on His Liberty

 

Text: Galatians 5:1(KJV)

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

In a time like this, we must remember freedom is what we have, and that is because Christ has made us free no matter the battles all over today. Christ has fought for us and has won the victory, so we are meant to live a free life (a life where we are no longer slaves to sin). This is our inheritance with the weapon of praise, prayer and the words of our testimony. 1 Corinthians 15:57 (NLT) - But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. The challenges that we face in our world of today are there to threaten our faith, but the question before us is when threatened, where do you stand? Do you submit to those circumstances around you, or do you dwell on the Word of God and use it to strengthen your faith? Joshua.1:8a-This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein. The Word of God is our weapon, and we are meant to meditate on it both day and night. This Word of God is filled with truth, so we should stand on it so as to follow the right path.

I tell you, it is time to stand strong, fit, firm, and capable. We should not be swinging from pillar to post in search of solution. The greatest strength we need now is in searching to know the mind of God concerning any matter. Let our foundation of standing be based on the word of truth. Daniel 11:32b- But the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. It is time to resist those issues of life. We must genuinely stand on the God we serve. We can still do exploits and remarkable things in the phase of opposition. Therefore, we need to stay courageous and loyal to God. The energy to carry on is not in the flesh or on whatever thing you have believed on, but it is in-built in us by our stand with God. We should love and not hate the things of God even in the minutest form because there are several discouragements in our vicinity. I encourage us to identify what takes us back to the yoke of bondage and keep off. I pray God will help us, in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.Oh Lord, please help us to put on the whole armour of God, so as to stand firm against the strategy of the devil, in Jesus name.

2. Father, no matter the happenings of this world, may we stand firm and resolute in our faith, in Jesus name.
