A unique Holy Ghost experience

 

Text: Acts.2:3-4 (KJV)

³And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. ⁴ And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

One of the benefits of the Pentecost is the outpour of the Holy Ghost in the upper room. Jesus had promised that after his departure, that they would receive power after the Holy Ghost comes upon them. If you have ever realized, the disciples were in one accord that means they had oneness of heart, none of them were distracted, and due to them being in one accord, this triggered the heavens to open which poured down this unique Holy Ghost experience. As the heaven opened, cloven tongues of fire sat on each one of them. Reading furthermore in our scripture, we see that the utterance released from heaven was so heavy that even the multitudes were confused, and that means it was a unique experience indeed. Acts 2:6-Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. Beloved brethren, we can also activate this new level with the Holy Spirit. It is time we begin to speak with new tongues with new experience, and this can only be achieved by us having diverse encounters with the Holy Spirit. Please never relax at one encounter because each experience opens you up to a unique revelation of His attribute.

 

The questions you should ask yourself is, are you still at the same level of Holy Spirit encounter year after year? Can you speak in tongues for hours or even sing and worship God in tongues? Can you be sincere to declare to yourself, “My speaking in tongues has not changed at all, it is still the same”? You can desire a new level with the Holy Ghost today because it will definitely translate into new ideas. Ezekiel 47:4- Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins. The truth is we are not meant to remain in the same position and level even spiritually; instead, we are meant to have a progression, and this is what God is expecting from us. There are levels we must step up to with diversities of His gifts, and we need to place a demand by praying for the power to fill us up even to overflow. We must remember, this experience we are encountering is not only for us, it is meant to overflow to others, and by so doing, it will bring people to this glorious kingdom. So start today to demand this power afresh no matter your level, there are still more heights to attend in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.Father, please baptize us afresh with your Spirit for a free flow of your move in our midst, in Jesus name.

2.Father, please overshadow us by a sudden mighty wind of your appearance even now, in Jesus name.
