Wake up the Master

 

Text: Mark 4:38(KJV)

And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

In this journey of life, there will be waves which will try to toss one about, but the only one who can make us enjoy real joy and peace is the MASTER, and once He is woken up those waves go to sleep. The Master who we are waking up is JESUS CHRIST and He is not moved by storms, but instead He can control storms and waves by defiling nature. Mark 4:41- And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him? I tell you, once He is woken up there is nothing one cannot accomplish because He has the MASTER-KEY which can open and close all doors. We need to understand that on our own we can do nothing because those storms and waves will only break you more if you do it your way, but the moment you engage the MASTER-KEY Jesus, those storms become worthless and ineffective. Friends, remember there is no resistance with the Master-Key.  The question is, how often do you wake the Master and do you always bring Him in your journey? We need to be sincere with ourselves because this will help us to understand the importance of the Master even more. Many of us are still experiencing prolonged storms because of our decision, so I encourage us to always carry the Master and let Him be the BOSS of the ship because the faster you realize this, the faster you will come out of those storms and this is a great opportunity which we need to utilize it. Don’t disgrace the Master the way you react over those problems.

We need to stop complaining and wailing in our storms but instead wake the Master because His involvement can do great and even greater things in your ship, like strength, peace of mind and many more. Philippians 4:13- I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. I encourage every one of us not to forget the Master because sometimes we can have Him in our ship but we forget that He is there and we struggle even more, so always remember the master and have faith in Him. I pray that all those storms will sleep and you will victoriously cross to the other side, in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.      Father, help me not to watch the Master sleep in my boat but instead wake Him up both in and out of those storms, in Jesus name.

2.      Oh Lord, please help me to cross over to the other side and may I also refuse to be scared of those waves, in Jesus name.
