There is still bread in that desert place

 

Text: Matthew 14:15(KJV)

And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.

Certain times, we find ourselves in a location where it practically shows dryness and we end up concluding in the depth of our hearts that we are isolated and barren, but it will amaze you to know that in that desolate and hopeless place there is still hope and life left. The reason why there is still hope is because Jesus is present and since He is there, He will turn that wilderness into a forest, so do not give up. The truth is, that wilderness might seem so deserted and lonely and with our human ideology there may be no traces of life, but the good news is, there is still a miracle there, just look at things with the eyes of faith. God always keeps His promises and He has promised never to forsake you or leave you on the roadside, so I encourage you to embrace His creative power because what God cannot do does not exist. Job 11:7 (NLT) – “Can you solve the mysteries of God? Can you discover everything about the Almighty? This makes us to understand that the God which we serve is higher, wider and deeper than we can imagine or we know. Ephesians 3:20a- Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. The good news again is, God is not absent in that desert place and He is set to recreate and bring unexplainable joy your way, so do not underestimate the greatness of your God.

From the scripture of today, the disciples declared to JESUS saying, “This is a desert place” while forgetting the presence of the Master, but unknown to them that desert place had bread and fishes which was able to feed everyone with even twelve baskets full remaining. The truth is, unless our eyes are opened supernaturally, we cannot comprehend His ways because His greatness is unsearchable. The location might seem uninhabitable but if you can still breathe there relax because God is a very present help in times of need and He will show His power again. Always remember, you are not abandoned and there is still fruit in that location, so have faith.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.      Father, help us not to measure God’s wealth based on our current wisdom standard, in Jesus name.

2.      Oh Lord, please take us into the deep for unexplainable encounters in Jesus name.
