Get into the deep.

 

Text: Luke 5:4(KJV)

Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

I believe many of us have dwelt in a particular spot for a long time, it even says in Deuteronomy 1:6-The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount. Dwelling in a particular spot might seem so comfortable, but have you even realized that there are greater things ahead? Being in a spot might seem like the best option available but until you make effort to go deeper you will never be able to taste the greater things ahead. Sincerely, Christians universally want to get deeper in faith and knowledge, which is a great step for the greater things, but we need to leave the comfort zone. Leaving the comfort zone provokes us into getting deeper, which in turn will result in all-round blessings. The truth is, it is high time for every child of God to go deeper in their walk with JESUS; it is never too late and by so doing, we get into the flow of revelation which God has set for us. We need to always remember, leaving the comfort zone moves us one step closer to the great things which is usually revealed by seeking and searching from the deep.

Certain times, we go around in circles with no physical proof. Sometimes, we do not even realize until we hear the summoning voice which instructs us on going into the deep, and this makes us realize that there are more fishes to catch; but for one to catch more fishes, we must move out of the shallow waters and get into the deep ocean. John21:6-And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. There is a right side which we must allow the Holy Spirit to lead us too, but it takes obedience and a bold heart to move and push far again especially when you have laboured without result. I tell you again, it is time to get into the deep water and to enlarge your area of horizon of operation. Remember, it is never too late, you can start today and I pray God will help you, in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.      Father, please enlarge my capacity to receive your divine deposit upon my life and family, in Jesus name.

2.      Oh Lord, move me to a deep and new location where I can experience a net breaking harvest in Jesus name.
