My Heart is Fixed.

  

Text:Psalm 108:1(KJV)

O God, my heart is fixed, I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

A time comes in life when the challenges and troubles of the world become too much to handle and in that case we end up deciding who to lean on under pressure. We make decisions which we later regret or start saying “I wish”. Although we are facing all those troubles and challenges, we should not waver but instead we should have our hearts and minds fixed on Jesus because He has the solution we are looking for. Psalm 57:7- My heart is fixed, O God my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. We are in a period where we need to take a stand on who we truly believe in. In times like this, we need to be in a state of absolute confidence on the Master despite the obstacles. We need to get to a point of being resolute and unmovable in the Lord by stepping up our faith level. I tell you, now is the time to reflect on the past victories because in so doing your faith gets strengthened and this results in you keeping your faith firm. We need to also know that although there are various options which are so appealing to the eyes, we should still be strong and courageous just like Joshua and this can only happen by the help of the Holy Spirit.

The truth is, we should stand firm with the Word of God by purposing in our heart to live by the dictate of the scriptures, and amazingly, as we keep pondering on the scriptures written in God’s Word, we get transformed and evidences start to show in our thoughts and minds, so I encourage you today to feed fat and get drunk in the Word. Daniel 1:8-But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Man’s thought is filled with inconsistency but as we keep meditating on the Word of God, just like a watered garden, you will see refreshed good fruits starting to grow at all times. I urge you to remember that our heart has been circumcised for good works, so walk in that mandate. I pray God will teach us more, in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.      Father, please take us to a place of tender heart, so as to declare our position no matter the negative pressures of life in Jesus name.

2.      Oh Lord, please may our tongue direct our hearts to express God’s praise in our lives in Jesus name.
