Text:
Proverbs 24:16 (KJV)
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up
again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
Do you still remember that you are a righteous vessel?
I wonder what your response is. I really hope you still remember because Christ
has imputed His righteousness in us, and it is not meant to be kept dormant,
but instead, it is meant to be used in all circumstances. Our text above tells
us a lot about what the righteous enjoy, and I hope you and I can be called
righteous because we can’t envy the wicked for their fall is into mischief. The good news is that whatever has made us exempt
from those called righteous or has caused us to miss those benefits, as we
confess our sins to Him now, they are written off in Jesus name. AMEN Colossians 2:14- Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was
against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to
his cross. Many
at times, we go through several temptations, but we have been taught before
that you being tempted is not a bad thing, and you falling into temptations is
not the end of life, but when you stay in that temptation is where the problem
is. We should always remember to return quickly to the Lord whenever we go
astray from Him and remember His arms are wide open to accept us.
The truth is since we are still in this world and born out of
it, there will be imperfections, but the good news is you allowing God, the
potter, makes Him to work on those imperfections and remember He still loves
you despite all of that. Romans
5:8- But God commendeth his love toward us, in
that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. We must also remember, no one can
exempt us from the benefits of the righteous only we can do that, and I pray we
will not exempt ourselves from those benefits, in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINTS:
1.Father, may my hope of living as a righteous person not be
cut off, in Jesus name.
2. Father, may our righteousness in Christ exalt us as
individuals and as a nation as we put on the new man and put off the old man,
in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE:
Can you imagine a plot against the righteous? It is
indeed a lost labour.
