Text:
Philippians 2:29 (KJV)
Receive him therefore in the Lord with all
gladness; and hold such in reputation.
There is one thing we must remember, and that is our
salvation experience is a big privilege, which we must appreciate at all times.
We have a great connection with God, and we should celebrate it. Due to the
fact that we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we have been given a
reputation, which we must express and hold fast. In exchange for our service to
God, we have received honour, and we have to be humble and develop an attitude
of gladness. We carry a lot in us, and we should be proud and confident about
it. Psalms 122:1- I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the
house of the Lord.
God has deposited so much amazing things in us, so we should
always enter into His gate with gladness because He deserves it. We should
always express the great joy and honour that we have received from His Word.
One mistake we tend to make is that we serve God with burden and weariness of
heart, and this result in us hindering our flow in the inheritance of gladness
package meant for us. I tell you, it is not supposed to be so, which tells us
we need to change our attitude. Always remember to serve God with wholeness and
cheerfulness of heart. 2
Corinthians 9:7- Every man according as he
purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for
God loveth a cheerful giver. So I urge you never to allow any low moment for any reason
even as you continue to keep and sustain the gladness which you have received
from the Word of God. It is a disposition that cannot be hidden rather
tangible. God will help
us, in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINTS:
1.Thank you Lord for your promises that have kept us in
perpetual gladness, even as we hold on to your Word, in Jesus name.
2.Oh Lord, please help us to always receive the Word of God
with hope and gladness, in Jesus name.
3. Oh Lord, please refresh us even in times of depression and
discouragement in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Always
remember that your gladness flows like a
fountain from the deep.
