Text: Philippians 4:6 (ESV)
Do not be anxious about
anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let
your requests be made known to God.
A lot of people are struggling in their prayer life if we can be
sincere with ourselves. Many at times, we get frustrated and confused about why
this is happening, but we often fail to realize that prayer
is not as hard as it may seem; it is usually simpler. It is what makes us to
have a strong connection with God. Although it can be simple, it is still
acceptable by God. We tend to get intimidated by people’s prayers pattern, but
the truth is God stills hears and answers those eloquent and silent ones too. The
type of prayer that you render to God, be it loud or silent; the main
thing is that it is based on the Word of God. There is NO MUST PATTERN TYPE OF PRAYER but follow Jesus laid down principles
to prayers. One just needs to depend on the Holy Spirit for help, and in so
doing, He will perfect your prayer line. Romans 8:26-
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we
should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us
with groanings which cannot be uttered. Remember, your prayer should be
in accordance with God’s will and never yours. Prayer cannot be stopped because it comes from the heart. You might
not know the prayer that God will answer, so pray all manner of prayers from
simple to hard matters.
One mistake we tend to make is that we
think we can pray for all our needs at once, but that is not true. We cannot
finish all our prayers at once; that is why we are told to pray continually. Luke 18:1- And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men
ought always to pray and not to faint. 1 Thessalonians 5:17- Pray without
ceasing. So I urge you to cultivate the habit of prayer,
be sincere and do not give up if your testimony does not come immediately, but
instead be patient because that simple prayer of yours will soon move
mountains, so rejoice.
PRAYER POINTS:
1.Father, please spice and oil my prayer
life in this generation of prayerlessness, in Jesus name.
2.Oh Lord, may we recognize that prayer

anxiety and activate faith for a full testimony prayers, in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Increase your intimacy with the Word, so as to enjoy
communion with God.
