My Secret Place

Text: Matthew 6:6 (KJV)

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Life has taught us that there is always a hiding place, which is like a shelter in time of storm, and this place is usually a place to run to for safety and protection. We have the greatest privilege of having the safest and best place to hide, which is in Jesus. There is a divine covering that makes the enemy not to pluck you out of his hands. Psalms 91:1- He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. He is our secret place, and the amazing part is that those who dwell and remain in Him will be rewarded openly, as we are told in our text of today. Isn’t that awesome? The truth is the world is a battle ground, but the point of you putting your comfort in this great place gives you an assurance that in that battle of life, you have victory because we are on the winning side.. Exodus 14:14- The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

Amazingly, not only is He a secret place but also His name is a so strong that it gives a place of safety by you calling it. Proverbs 18:10-The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. Also, Psalms 46:1-God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. I tell you, this secret place is so unique, and every one My Secret Place.of strength and refreshment, you need to have an intimate relationship with God, and that starts with the heart. You allowing Him into your heart make Him to dwell there, and in so doing, He reveals the secrets of His Word and your purpose for living. This special place is meant for you and me, and we can start today to hunger for it, so I urge you just to accept Him into your heart today and experience Him deeply for a satisfactory lifestyle in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS: 

1.Father, please take me to your secret place of diverse encounters, in Jesus name.

2. Oh Lord, I come against every form of distraction that is hindering me from experiencing you in my secret place, in Jesus name.
