God remembers us

Text: Genesis 8:1 (KJV)

And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged.

We know that life comes in different phases and currents, but the truth still remains that no matter the level of that current, it will definitely subside and will give way for God’s plan to happen. Our scripture of today reminds us that God remembers us and not only us but also everything around us. (Note that every living thing was included and that very issue of challenge is also part of it) Amazingly, when God remembers a man, He also adds a blessing to that remembrance, which involved God goodness and favour on every side.. Like from our text above, we see that after He remembered Noah, He caused the wind to pass over the earth, and that wind resulted in the decrease in the water level (so that means once you have God’s attention, every overflowing concerns are shutdown). Also, the story of Rachel can be used as an example. Genesis 30:22-23-And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb. And she conceived, and bare a son; and said God hath taken away my reproach. We see that God terminated her long-standing concern, so this means we too can enjoy all-round peace as he takes out that reproach.

God is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, and He never forgets His promises. Although man may forget you, He will never do that, but instead, He will reward your labour. Isaiah 49:15- Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will not forget thee. So I encourage you to hold fast and strong on him because your pay day is coming. Always remember never to be discouraged or follow the multitude, but instead, rejoice and relax because He has remembered you concerning that issue. Hallelujah!!!!!!

1.Heavenly Father, please remember us by your covenant so as to enjoy rest again, in Jesus name.

2.Father, please may the global flood affecting the world today be humiliated by your tender mercies, in Jesus name.
