Satisfied with Jesus

Text: Luke 12:15(KJV)

And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

If I gave you everything you wanted in this world, will you be satisfied? If you say yes, then I will ask you, what will you do when a new desire comes? I wonder what your response will be. The truth is man is insatiable, and that means you can never be satisfied no matter the level of possession you may have or will have. Our text of today tells us to watch out and guard ourselves against every kind of greed because our life is not made up of the things we own, no matter how rich we may be, and that is the truth. Think about it for a second if you are still doubting, and you will realize it. Let us not even go so far, even with this lockdown or pandemic, we see that all our desires and the possessions that we have gathered have all been locked up for months, so can you see? One mistake people make is that they forget that life is not defined by what you have, even when you have a lot. We can see that in 1Timothy 6:7- For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. Because of this mistake, many people feel like life is worthless since they do not have any possession or since they cannot satisfy their desires, but the only way anyone can be satisfied is through Jesus. Why the struggles without Him?

The truth is the satisfaction that you get from Jesus is true and genuine, and it is without stress. That shows that THE GOD FACTOR IS THE REAL SATISFACTION. The amazing part is that this genuine satisfaction even comes with benefits like long life and supplication of all your needs. Wow!!!! Isn’t that unbelievable? It says in Psalms 91:16- With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. God has promised us with long life, and we can also see in Philippians 4:19- But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. It is still unbelievable. So that means that us accepting Jesus and being satisfied in Him makes all other desires satisfied too. Wow!!!! Really mind-blowing. So I ask you what kind of satisfaction can beat this true and genuine satisfaction? Nothing,so why don’t you taste Him today and experience this kind of satisfaction because our faith in Him can never fail in Jesus name.

2.Father, please fill every of our inward emptiness that has led to secret tears with You, in Jesus name.
