God in your midst

 

Text: Psalms 46:5 (KJV)

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

Certain times, we see the people of this world and think that we are the same with them, but that is not true. Although we are all humans, we have one distinct feature: the presence of a great God in our midst. Think about it for a second; the fact that we are called God’s people and children, we have been given this feature. This should make us realize that we are above the standard the world keeps. The fact that God is in our midst means that He is in charge, and that also means that we are prevented from falls. The falls we are discussing are not physical fall, but falls which occur either financially, emotionally, medically, and even spiritually. Zephaniah 3:17- The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. There is one fact about us as believers that we try to deny, and that is we are a city. We are a place where God dwells in, and I tell you, nothing will destroy us. 1 Corinthians 6:19 (NLT) - Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God?

God is heavily present, and He is very ready to help in times of any trouble. The truth is His help is evidence in His power, provision, protection, and even favour, but the question is, do you seek for His help, or do you try to face it on your own? Always remember God in the midst of it all, and it is a sign of His protective covering. God is always on time, and He also shows up at the eleventh hour, so put your trust in Him. God has a special purpose in every one of us, and there is nothing to doubt about Him. We are encouraged to hope and put our trust in Him because He is nearer than you ever imagined. He will never attend to our cases late, but instead, he is right on time. No matter what we hear, we should not be moved because God is suitable, seasonable, timely, always available to help us, and He wipes away our tears.  Beloved, He is reliable.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.Father, thank you because You are right at the center of my affairs, in Jesus name.

2. Father, please help me to be conscious of who I am carrying inside of me as a temple in Jesus name.

3. God, please help us to lean on You, as there are a host of angels surrounding us, in Jesus name.
