He disappointed their devices

 

Text: Job5:12 (KJV)

He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.

In this technology era that we live in, there are a lot of devices that have been manufactured. Some are made for good while some are made for bad. The ones which are made for good, God uses them to improve our lives for more testimonies, and we thank Him for that, but the ones made with an evil mission attached to it, God disappoints their plans. Many at times, we see or hear about disappointment, but have you ever thanked God for the plans which you had in mind that did not go according to your program? I believe most of us will say “No”. The truth is, we have heard of testimonies of people who planned for something, but they were disappointed. But later they found out that the plans they had in mind would have led to them losing their lives or something precious. Then they end up thanking God for saving their lives, but this should have been done immediately after the disappointment. The God we serve is so merciful, and He sees beyond what we can see. Therefore, rejoice, because our God has already disappointed the evil plans while it is still in the conception stage. The devil always put a lot of effort into planning those evil missions with a lot of confidence, imagination, and secret design. But thank God because He has and will defeat all of their strategies in Jesus name. Nehemiah 4:15- And it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known unto us, and God had brought their counsel to nought, that we returned all of us to the wall, every one unto his work. We need to appreciate God for their crafty counsel is no more and shall not stand; that is why it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18a- In everything, give thanks. Let us learn to always give thanks to God, either in good or bad times in Jesus name.

Beyond the device, there are spoken words that stand as evil devices. Isaiah 8:10- Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us. Our God is more than able, and He will continue to disappoint all their strategy, so we should make out time to thank Him. God is working seriously behind the scene; there are a lot of unseen battles He fought and ended on our behalf for His name's sake, so be grateful for that. The fact that you have God involved means that you have the upper hand because His wisdom is able to navigate and frustrate their devices, so rejoice because all of their schemes have no effect in your life. Hallelujah!!!

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Thank you Jesus for frustrating all the crafty devices of the wicked, in Jesus name.

2. Father, please continue to disappoint the invisible devices that they are manufacturing right now for their operation in Jesus name.
