Who can be likened to God?

Text: Luke 13:19 (KJV)
It is a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden: and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.
Have you ever ask yourself, what can profit us like God’s Kingdom or should I say, what is your imagination about the Kingdom of God? Think about it for a second. The grain is a parable that is used to illustrate God’s kingdom. It is likened to a seed. A grain is very tiny, but when planted, it always grows to become a massive tree with thick branches which birds use to build nests. Imagine a yeast added to the dough for bread, the impart of that small quantity is so much that it spreads into every part of the dough, making it to rise and it becomes bread, so is it with the Word of God. It might seems so small, but when planted, it germinates to bear more fruits and this allows others to depend on it.
We should begin to appreciate what we enjoy in this Kingdom. It is a realm of Spiritual authority and it has different policy patterns. It exists very differently from this earthly kingdom. The principles which are involved is what we must crave to understand because it is full of mysteries. We cannot understand it with our human intelligence. 1 Corinthians 1:27- But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the mighty things. The foolishness of God is wiser and more reliable than any man’s greatest strength or wisdom. How interesting is that. He knows everything inside and outside and does not pause to catch a breath. There is no searching for His understanding. You can’t know Him enough, but He never gets tired of revealing more of himself to man. Whatever you have known about Him, He is far beyond all that, so let’s get back to the scriptures to learn more about Him.
We should not allow our minds to be blinded. 2 Corinthians 4:4- In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. The Gospel is a mystery, and being in the flesh, we cannot understand His personality and integrity; this makes us unable to see the best picture of the glorious Gospel of Christ. To the carnal mind, it is enmity against God and this blinds the people of this world from believing in the Gospel because we do not see the glorious light in God’s Kingdom, but instead, we see darkness. The light of the Gospel is so quick or should I say instant, that it shines in our hearts and makes us flooded with the understanding of whom God is, and we begin to enjoy the benefits of the Gospel of truth. Romans 8:7- Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. The Holy Spirit makes our heart to be transparent and focused, and this makes us to grasp confidently the hope that is in Him and the riches of the glorious inheritance for His followers. God is working in us, and He is giving us the desire and the energy to do what pleases Him, so that we can have a deep understanding of who he is.
PRAYER POINTS:
1) Oh Lord, help us to hunger for the Word of God like never before, as to appreciate who You are, in Jesus name.
2) Father, may the glorious mysteries of the Gospel be made open to us anew, in Jesus name.
3) Father, may my mind be flooded with spiritual light that will swallow carnality and fleshly desire, in Jesus name.
