A Laughter-Filled Life.

Text: Psalm 126:2 (KJV)

Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing; then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.

A turnaround life is all possible because it is an experience that brings about gladness. Sarah, Hannah and many others in the Bible laughed when they experienced a new encounter. Laughter comes without preparation.  When you receive any good news no matter how little, laughter comes immediately and this is a junction of change. God turns your negative experience into dancing. Never imagine that takes a long time for laughter to come, but rather it is just the opposite, it is a sudden switch from sadness. Your countenance immediately changes from a sad state to a state filled with happiness. The old garment is removed and you wear a new look not based on make-up. Laughter is the best medicine. Proverbs 17:22- A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones. It is a lifestyle we must develop as believers. Life is full of pressure and oppression which hinder your joy, but God turns our captivity into dancing like a dream in the night and this seems too good to be true. Laughter happens promptly and you cannot resist it. The challenges of life can keep an individual with never-ending problems, but you can decide to live a life of gladness, laughter, singing, dancing and rejoicing. A laughter-filled life is a life filled with testimonies and good news just like Sarah when she said “God has made me laugh”. The greatest of them all is when the Lord prepares a table for you in the presence of your enemies. Smiles should flow like a stream which is endlessly and has attraction attached to it. Friends, although you have cried before, it is now your turn to laugh again. It is a new chapter and God has opened an outpour of laughter that is irresistible. LAUGHTER IS CONTAGIOUS. Your lips will shout again for laughter because God will make you laugh again even now, AMEN.

Laughter is a precious seed you must bear daily by determination. Clean up your tears for you have cried enough secretly, it is time to welcome that default laughter mood, in Jesus name, AMEN. Psalms 30:11- Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; thou has put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness.  No matter the level of fears and dismay, God can turn that mourning into dancing, that sad nature can smile again. Laughter decreases stress and triggers good feelings. Those pressures are part of life, but you can decide to live in happiness despite the unpleasant issues. Can you remember that last challenge that gave you sleepless night, today it is no more, so God will turn the current into “AND IT CAME TO PASS”?

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Thank you Lord for the oil of laughter, which is a medicine in my life. We pray for several reasons of laughter and rejoicing in our lives, in Jesus name.

2. Oh Lord, make my experience to become a testimony to encourage someone to laugh tomorrow, in Jesus name.

3. Father, may the reason for my laughter not cease but continue to flow like a stream, in Jesus name.
