Strength to mount up

Text: Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Friends, every day presents new opportunities, responsibilities, and challenges. At times, life's demands can leave us feeling weary or uncertain about the future. Yet God never intended for us to depend on our own strength. He invites us to rely on Him, for He is the unfailing source of renewed strength to mount up to height not imagined. So, when we patiently trust in Him, He replaces our weakness with His power, enabling us to move forward with confidence in Him.  Therefore, God's strength is always available to those who seek Him. Psalm 46:1 reminds us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

Whatever challenges we face, His presence provides courage, wisdom, and peace. Likewise, Philippians 4:13 declares, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." This assures us that victory comes not through human ability but through Christ who strengthens us.  Today, place your confidence in God rather than your circumstances. Refuse to let fear or yesterday's disappointments shape your outlook in this new month. As you spend time in prayer and God's Word, He will renew your strength and equip you for the journey, increase your faith, and direct your steps. The God who sustained you yesterday will faithfully lead you through today and every tomorrow He has prepared for you in Jesus name.

Heavenly Father, thank You for being my strength and my refuge. Renew my heart when I grow weary, help me trust You completely, and empower me to walk faithfully in Your will in Jesus' name. Amen.
