Sowing in Tears, Reaping in Joy

 Text: Psalm 126:5 (KJV)

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

Friends, sometimes obedience requires us to keep sowing even when we are crying. This can be possible when we have a revelation about God’s covenant of sowing and reaping.  It is a principle that cannot be altered by human ideology. Although, you may be working hard without seeing immediate results, praying without seeing an answer, or doing what is right while facing difficult circumstances. Yet God promises that tears do not cancel the harvest. Just keep sowing. There is a due season.  2 Corinthians 9:6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

Therefore, every prayer, sacrifice, act of obedience, good deed, and faithful effort planted in difficult seasons can become a seed for tomorrow's harvest. Galatians 6:9 reminds us “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” So, do not become weary in doing good because, in due season of reaping if only you do not give up. Your tears are not wasted when they are poured out before God in prayers and worship. Continue sowing. Continue praying. Continue believing. The season of tears and that lonely moments will not last forever, and God can turn your faithful seeds into a harvest of joy today in Jesus name.

Prayer Point:
Oh Lord, give me strength to keep sowing in difficult seasons and help me to reap the harvest of joy You have prepared for me, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Action Quote: Remember, tears may water your lonely moments today, but God can turn them into a harvest of joy.
