Working with God in Every Step

 

Text: Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Friends, life requires that we make decisions as we journey through, so God desire is that we walk with Him and involve Him in every step we take. Hence, as believers we have the advantage and the assurance of working with God in our daily step.  Therefore, working with Him is more than seeking His help during difficult times; it means inviting Him into our daily decisions, plans, relationships, responsibilities, and goals. It is a lifestyle of dependence, trust, and obedience. When we acknowledge God in ALL our ways, He promises to direct our paths and guide us according to His perfect will. Today, let’s make the commitment to involve God in every area of our lives. Isaiah 30:21-And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Interestingly, God often leads us one step at a time as He may not reveal the entire journey at once, but He faithfully provides the guidance needed for each season. Just as He led the children of Israel through the wilderness with the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night, God still guides His people today through His Word, His Spirit, and His wisdom. Psalm 37:23 declares, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way." Then, we can avoid many unnecessary mistakes and frustrations in that journey, now. I pray we shall follow His leading even when the way is not fully clear but He is the safest place as He will guide your steps and establish your path in Jesus' name.

Prayer Point:

Oh Lord, teach me to trust You completely and to acknowledge You in every area of my life. Direct my steps, guide my decisions, and help me to walk faithfully with You each day, in Jesus' name.
