Consistency in His Covering

 Text: Psalm 121:7-8 (KJV) 

"The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore."

Friends, one of the greatest assurances we have is the consistent covering of God. We know the human kind of protection, which can be limited and temporary, but God's covering is constant, dependable, and unfailing. His watchful eyes are upon you day and night, preserving us through every season of life. Whether in moments of joy or times of difficulty. Remember, God's protective hand remains steadfast over those who trust in Him. Hence, consistency in God's covering requires consistency in our relationship with Him. While God's love never changes, we are encouraged to remain close to Him Psalm 91:4 -He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler

Interestingly, God's covering is not something we experience occasionally; it is something we are called to live under continually. Just as a child remains secure under the care of a loving parent, believers are invited to remain under God's divine care through a life of faith, obedience, and fellowship with Him. Deuteronomy 33:27 declares, "The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms." His covering does not weaken with time, nor does it depend on changing circumstances. His faithfulness remains constant from generation to generation. Let’s make it a priority to walk with God daily and trust in His preserving power, today. Remember, His covering is not limited to certain days or seasons; it is available every moment of your life as we remain faithful in our walk with Him in Jesus name.

Oh Lord, help me to remain steadfast in my walk with You and keep me under Your constant covering and preserve me in all my ways, in Jesus' name.
