Text: Joshua 1:8
This book
of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein
day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written
therein.
Friends, the challenges of our world
are real but it takes the power of God’s Word to navigate through life. Hence,
when life threatens your stability, your foundation determines your survival. You
cannot watch events of your life rather you attack back by resisting with the
word of God. It is on the word of God that we need to stand firm over
oppositions. Yes, many believers today are spiritually exhausted because they
are searching everywhere for solutions except in the Word of God which is the
limitation to answers. Therefore, the Word should not just be for our comfort
rather it is our weapon. So, as we meditate on His word, it builds spiritual
muscle and our consistency creates stability. But thanks be to
the Lord, who has given us the road map of escape through the word of life and
hope. Therefore, search to be encouraged today. 1Samuel
30:6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him,
because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his son and for
his daughter; but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.
Amazingly, those who truly know
their God are not easily shaken. Standing strong does not mean denying reality
but it means refusing to bow to it. Daniel 11:32b- But the people that
do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. Even in opposition, you can still do exploits but through
the direction of the word. Remember, your strength is not in your flesh, neither
in your connections, nor your resources but it is in your relationship with God
through His Word. I encourage us in this season, do not swing from pillar to
post. It is time to go deeper in the Word. Seek the mind of God concerning
every matter. When your foundation is truth, you remain unmovable even to today
in Jesus name.
Prayer Points:
- Father, establish me firmly on Your Word that will make
me unmovable in this season in Jesus name
- Oh Lord, grant me strength to stand courageous and do
exploits despite oppositions in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, when you stand firm in God’s word it makes you to
stand strong above the tricks of the enemy.
