Text: Matthew 6:6 (KJV)
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when
thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father
which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Friends, life has taught us that there
is always a hiding place, a shelter in times of storm. It is the place we run
to for safety and protection. Do not allow any form of distraction in your
secret place so that you can hear Him clearly. We have the greatest privilege
of having the safest and best place to hide when we allow Jesus into our
closet. There is a divine covering that prevents the enemy from plucking us
out of His hands. Therefore, we must keep our communication line open with
effective feedback as we abide under His canopy. Psalm 91:1 says, He
that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow
of the Almighty.
Amazingly, God Himself is our secret
place, and the beautiful part is that those who dwell and remain in Him will be
rewarded openly, as we are told in today’s text. It is powerful to shut out the
noise and hear the way forward in the closet. The truth is, the world is a
battleground, but when you place your confidence in this sacred place, you are
assured that in the battles of life, victory is yours because you stand on the
winning side in the secret place. Exodus 14:14 declares, The
LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. I pray that the noise around us will not overwhelm the clarity of His
voice in the closet, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

1.Father, please take me to your secret
place for diverse encounters in my journey of destiny, in Jesus name.
