Text: 2 Corinthians 5:17(KJV)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new
creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Friends, we must remember that life often runs in
patterns, some are healthy while others are destructive patterns that has
brought shame and regret to lives. Yes, many people love God sincerely, yet
remain trapped in cycles of fear, delay, unhealthy relationships,
prayerlessness, or doubt. But in Christ, God does not only repair the old
patterns rather He creates the new. Hence,
opening a new pattern begins with a renewed mind. Romans
12:2 reminds us: Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind. Every day, let’s us wake up as it is an
opportunity to rewrite our spiritual story for an amazing destiny. Today, we
can break the pattern of hopelessness after loss like Ruth did and chose
commitment to God and Naomi as a pattern that brought about her lineage with
Jesus.
Interestingly, you cannot walk into a new season
with an old mindset as a cycle. So, God
invites you to partner with Him in shaping new habits, new responses, new faith
actions, and new spiritual disciplines. He is blotting out the old cycle if
only we can choose prayer in place of panic. We can exchange faith over fear as
a pattern of legacy in our family. Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was
against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to
his cross. For instance, God called Abraham out of
familiarity into destiny. He had to leave the old pattern before God could
establish a new one. I pray, we shall surrender our hearts for new doors as a
pattern in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
Oh Lord, teach me to walk in Your ways and open
new godly patterns in my life as I align with Your purpose in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember,
faith replaces fear and creates victorious patterns.
