God of REFUGE

Text: Psalm 46:1 (KJV)

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble

Friends, we have a safe place to run to at the time of need. Yes, the canopy of God is limitless, no matter the situation for He is our shelter in the time of storm. He is a person and a place where we find protection and security with an unending peace. Therefore, in the time of danger, fears, trouble and distress, we have an anchor in Christ where he doubles our protective shield daily. It is a place where we run to at the time of difficulty. Psalm 91:2 - I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. We have trusted God and we are rest assured for comfort and deliverance as a marvelous father. Hence, in that overwhelming danger we have a God so, we are not alone. Let’s run to Him in that uncertain hour. He never fails nor disappoints His own. All we need, is to trust Him, pray to Him and rest on His promises to delivers us at all times. When you are weary or afraid, God invites you to hide in Him. Remember, His presence is not distant or delayed rather He is a very present help today. Proverbs 18:10 – The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe

Unfortunately, in such times, many look for comfort in people, possessions, or distractions, but none of these provide lasting safety. He is a divine shelter where our faith grows, peace reigns, and hope is renewed. Psalm 9:9 The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Interestingly, He is always near, ready to strengthen and protect us. So, we have a stronghold in God, all we need is to pour our hearts on Him at all times no matter the hard moment, He shall secure and answer us in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT: 

Heavenly Father, help us to rest in God’s love even when we don’t understand the plan but trust that He will never forsake us in Jesus name.
