Divine Remembrance

Text: Genesis 8:1 (KJV)

And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged.

Friends, life storms can make you feel God has forgotten you. His silence does not mean His absence. God has not forgotten you. Cheer up. He still remembers you in that situation, so don’t ever imagine that He can forget you. This is an act from God and no man can stop it at the appointed time. You are in His plan, he can remember an individual, a situation, family, nation, generation even your business and career today. Yes, your prayers, your faithfulness and that situation is before the Lord.  He will show up for your mercy, favour and will fulfill His promise because of His covenant. Exodus 2:24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob Hence, God will certainly act at that right time. It is a point of turn around which expresses divine attention accompanied with His intervention which can happen after a long time of waiting. For example God remember Racheal after a long time of waiting because of barreness. He opened her womb for a blessing. Don’t give up, God has seen your efforts and pain, and He will soon step in to bless and help you even in this season. The decision is from God to show His compassion upon us as He remembers us for joy and celebration. Psalm 115:12 The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron

Interestingly, when God remembers one it is an answer to our prayers. Though, it is in human nature to forget one but God will never leave us. Isaiah 49:15–16 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. He makes everything to change for your good, like He wiped away tears from Hannah, too, after several years of tears and mockery from her mate. His visit brought about gift of a Samuel. Therefore, your time of visitation is a divine moment of His favour which comes at God’s set time to honour us. I encourage us, really on God because He remembers us for a blessing and not judgment as His dear children. He will shift that delay to a glorious destiny in Jesus name.

Oh Lord may God’s answering nature show up now as my season of divine attention in Jesus name.
