Grace in God’s Sight

 

Text: Genesis 6:8 (KJV)

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. (John 1:16-17)

Friends, we enjoy the unmerited kindness of God which is shown to us by His mercy.  It is not because of what we have done but for who He is. It is a reflection of God’s love and favour.  We must learn to recognize Grace which is God in the race of humanity which we cannot earn by works. It is a free gift that came to us by salvation because of the love of God through Christ Jesus. 2Cori. 12:9 My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, we can enjoy undeserved blessing because of God’s goodness even in that state of weakness today. So, grace is your divine enabler that makes one to live the life of God here on earth despite the oppositions. Then, we all need grace to become and attain His purpose on earth as we walk in His will. Ephesian 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Hence, grace makes us to become pleasing and accepted by God like Noah and his family found grace in God and were saved from destruction even in a corrupt generation.

Graciously speaking, Grace in God’s sight transforms our story from judgment to mercy, from weakness to strength, and from despair to hope. So, our access to salvation enables us to live as overcomers and above sin just by His grace. Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men. Yes, grace has appeared to all men and not by works that any should boast. Let’s us humble ourselves today and see the finger of God’s grace carry us through the ups and downs of life noiselessly. 2 Peter 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. I pray we shall continue to enjoy God’s deposit of grace as it multiplies by knowledge which empowers us as His dear children through our faith in Christ Jesus in Jesus name

Oh Lord, make us to find grace in Your sight that will make us to be chosen by God despite our shortcomings in Jesus name.
