Tender heart of kindness

 

Text: Ephesians 4:32(KJV)

And be kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ sake hath forgiven you.

Friends, kindness is a powerful force that yields any desire as it is also an expression of God’s love to humanity. This is an important virtue that we must express if we are led by the spirit of God and not a carnal mind which is enmity to God.  Unfortunately, kindness is a desire to all but very uncommon in our time as everyone is desperate for kindness but wickedness has over taken the society. It is a generous attitude that emanates from our divine character and shown to man and our environments. Therefore, we must choose kindness in all our endeavours as it opens doors of favour for all. 2Sam.9:3 And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the King, Jonathan hath yet a son which is lame on his feet. Hence, we must remember God’s kindness towards us is endless and His nature is in you.

Interestingly, kindness can extend to people that cannot even pay back. Remember we all have something to offer to our society today. So, goodwill is a valid gold that can purchase any form or level of asset and also it benefits self too.  Proverb 11:17 A man who is kind benefits himself, but a cruel man hurts himself. In fact, kindness reduces the purchasing value if not completely removes the cost but offers it for free as favour attracts. We must cultivate the character of Jesus as He demonstrated kindness throughout His ministry on earth. You too can bear the fruit of kindness today in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.       Father, may the Holy Spirit soften my heart as to show patience over frustration, love over anger as a way of life in Jesus name.
