Preserve the GOODLY CHILD

 

Text: Exodus 2:2(KJV)

And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months.

Friends, we are in a difficult season where the destinies of men both young and old are being hijacked and diverted. So, it is important they are preserved from the societal norms and evil distractions. Therefore, we must see with the eyes of the spirit for us to preserve the divine endowment in a child. Hence, from the scripture above, the woman bare a son with goodly nature in the child and she seeks to preserve the glory and the purpose of God in him. Jere 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Hence, there is a divine agenda that makes Moses a goodly child. This goodly is not just because of physical beauty rather a beautiful divine destiny. And the mother Jochebed was spiritual enough to see something extraordinary and did all to protect this divine destiny. Howbeit, the enemy will not succeed because God has trained and set him apart for His plan. Proverbs 22:6 – “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it

Interestingly, we thank God for the wisdom that came upon her to stop hiding the child because you cannot cover that goodly nature forever. Though the child even came at a time when Pharaoh had commanded all Hebrew male child to be killed, but God allowed this special child to be born, so, God strategically preserved him. However, she took a step to put the child and laid him in the flags by the river brink. Hebrew 11:23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.  And this is decision that marks the turning point for the preservation of this goodly child. Therefore, always remember that there is a good in you as a child for heavenly mandate and therefore we must do all to preserve these destinies till the day of their showing as to fulfil their destinies in Jesus name.

1. Father, I pray, that which God has created each and every one of us in destiny shall not be miscarried by the regulations of men in Jesus name
