Merry Christmas to everyone

Text: Mathew 2:10-11 (KJV)

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshiped him: and when they opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts: gold, and frankincense and myrrh.

Friends, the birth of Jesus has opened unto us an exceeding great joy as an attitude for his steadfast love that has no end. It is a joy of victory with unexplainable gladness. He is the true source of joy that flows out of our belly as a fountain of rejoicing. So, our eyes must be open to see that a star is born.  Thereafter, it flows joy from our soul and not just lip joy as a sign and a wonder upon wonders rather overwhelming joy.  It is His star that attracts good things because as they saw the star they rejoiced and came into the house and fell in worship of the great king. Psalm 72:10-11 The king of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the Kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. Yea all the kings shall fall down before him, all nations shall serve him.   Remember, they did not come empty rather opened their treasures and presented their diversities of gifts – gold, frankincense and myrrh. And, today we can come into His presence with sacrificial seed with a heart of worship in adoration to our King as it wells out from the fruit of the Spirit.

Amazingly, by reason of this season, God is filling you up with hope, filling you up with Joy. Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. There should be a level of overflow of rejoicing that remains as a memorial in our life time.  This is what brings a life of genuine worship as we celebrate this king. It is a time that all colour and race should celebrate and praise the name of the Lord with all our hearts both inside and outside. Hence, let’s allow the life giving energy of the Holy Spirit energies and strengthen our minds for ceaseless life of great joy. And our hope should be ever green, that will keep our heart joyous and merry disposition. I pray this source of joy will never run dry as we keep our hope alive in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, may our gift offering not just be limited to this season rather may cheerfulness of heart be our lifestyle in Jesus name.
