Text: 1 Corinthians 1:30-31 (KJV)
But of him are ye in Christ
Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and
sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that
glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
Friends,
redemption embraces the totality of the work of Christ for our salvation. It is
in the wisdom of God that Christ came to redeem man through our salvation
experience. And this plan was fully accomplished by His crucifixion on the
cross. By doing this, we are bought over into the kingdom of our dear Lord.
This brought us into righteousness, sanctification and redemption as we boost
in the Lord for our glorification. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye
are sealed unto the day of redemption. Therefore, as we put out faith in
Christ, we are sealed to the day of salvation. Remember, we are made holy and
justified in Christ as God has ransomed man, and setting us free from slave of
sin.
Amazingly, this wisdom
put the mighty and strong men of the world into confusion. Yes, how our belief
in Christ will turn a sinner into a saint. This is amazing as it indeed
difficult to understand this singular mystery. But, God in His wisdom changes
lives and situation as we accept His only begotten son. John 1:12. But as many as received him, to them gave he power
to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. So,
let’s accept him today as it came to us by grace and Him alone takes all the
glory. Remember, His death was the ransom payment to redeem us today in Jesus
name.
PRAYER
POINT:
1. Father, may
there be a consummation of our redemption package into the image being
glorified as heavenly being in Jesus name.
