Flee evil but do good

 

Text: Galatians 6:9-10 (KJV)

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Friends, we are in a world of wickedness that is ravaging the society at an increasing rage with new versions of evil. But you can choose to be a different personality as doing good is an opportunity that grants you access for favour and blessings. The truth about life is that we leave memories daily in the mind of people, but the question is, are those memories good or bad based on your action? Philippians 2:5- Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. I encourage you to render actions that will leave assistance in the minds of citizens because of tomorrow.

Additionally, we must remember that doing good can be an opportunity that will bring honour to you later in life. It says in 2Thessalonians 3:13- But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing. And it can also become a blessing to many generation down the line. This is very beneficial when we help an innocent person who has no capacity to pay back as Jesus thought us. Acts 10:38- How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Remember, our Lord Jesus core ministry is to do good which comes as he is always moved with compassion. Indeed, He is our role model. So despite the discouragement, let’s continue to do good today in Jesus name.
