Text: Psalms 92:12-13 (KJV)
The
righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in
Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the
courts of our God.
Friends, we cannot undermine the rate
of rapid growth of a tree planted by the rivers or a water plant. Hence, you
will enjoy the impact as you go through the drought season because they will
keep flourish unlike the rest of the plants on an unhealthy soil. However, this
can be possible if they are deeply rooted and as believers, if our anchor is on
the word of God, we can like that tree that brings for the fruits in season and
out of season. Psalm 1:3 And he shall be like a
tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his
season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. But
for the wicked, they shall be like a chaff before the wind, resentful and
miserable at all times.
Amazingly, as a palm tree they are
resistant to waves and turbulence because they firmly grounded. If I may ask,
what type of plant are you annual, biannual or perennial crops because this
will determine the extent of your flourishing season. So ask yourself: where
am I planted? Therefore, do
not allow dryness from the water of life. John 4:13
Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again,14
but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I
give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” I pray we shall be deeply rooted and
nourished in Christ, so that we can enjoy the flourishing lifestyle which the
word of God has imparted into us for cleansing in Jesus name. So, welcome to
your flourishing era.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Father, may I continue to get
nourished from this ever flowing source that Jesus is gardener in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember your age is not a limitation to your flourishing
adventure as you remain planted in Him.
