Text: Isaiah 49:25 (KJV)
But
thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and
the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth
with thee, and I will save thy children.
Friends, many of us are in very serious
battles in life and unless we involve God, we are helpless. Therefore, it takes
the mighty hand of God to free us from the bondage of the wicked over our life
and destiny in which we could be bound by law.
Certain times, it seems all over and impossible to walk out of some
challenges, but God is God. Yes, the enemy has done his worst but our God will
step in and contend for our freedom. That means, the giant might be holding one
down, cheer up, the man of war will still deliver and rescue us from the wicked
oppressors. Isaiah
54: 15 Behold,
they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever
shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. So, the
scripture above assures us that He can even set us free even in lawful situations.
The good news is that, Jesus rules the more by His saving grace in that present
concern.
Amazingly, we may not have any
single strength as a prey, but our mighty warrior will defend our course for
His name sake. His covenant promise is everlasting no matter the furnace of
fire. Isaiah 41:11 Behold, all they that were incensed against
thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that
strive with thee shall perish. We have to brace up this morning because as
many that are faced with fierce battle, God will feed that enemy who oppress you
with their own flesh and they shall be as nothing. And we shall be saved because God is holding
our right hand and will help us right on time in Jesus name.
PRAYER
POINT:
1) Father show them that you are my God even in that
threatening storm of my life in this season because their weapon shall not
stand in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, God has created the instrument to
waste and thresh the mountain as chaff.
