Christ, my strength.

 

Text: Philippians 4:13-14(KJV)

I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me. Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

Friends, that we wake up each day does not guarantee direction. We cannot really tell how the day will go even when you have written down an agenda.  But, when we anchor the plan on the strength of the Christ, we can be rest assured that it will be successful inside and outside. Psalms 121:1- I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. We need to train ourselves to overcome those difficult times by infusing the explosive power of the word into our lives. From the text of today, we can see that Christ has empowered us with inner strength, which is expressed outwardly, no matter the situation.

Interestingly, what really keeps us, is the strength of faith, which is completely different from physical strength.  The truth is, as humans, we have to be strong even when we are in difficult circumstances, and it is possible if we depend on Christ. Isaiah 41:10- Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.  Although some situations which we face can be tough to handle, but let’s turn to the bible, which is God’s word for strength.  Therefore, we need to rely on His word for the real energy to pull through those difficult moments, as the word is full of encouraging and inspiring truth that gives us inner motivation and courage. And it also has solutions to our problems today. It is never too late, you can start now, and as you do so, you will have unspeakable peace by His help in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.Father, help us to always remember that God’s word can never fail by holding on the faith in the word of God in Jesus name.
