Text: 1 John
1:9(KJV)
If
we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness
Friends, we
have a part to play in our walk with Christ if that sin will be forgiven. Our
God is able to purify us from any level of sin nature because the death of
Jesus has wash us and made us completely whole. So, don’t go back to that
vomit. The blood of Jesus is a purifying
wonder in our lives. Yes, we are born and conceived in sin, but Jesus came for
our forgiveness and remission. Therefore,
as we receive the word of life daily, he washes us with his hyssop and sanctify
us by the cleansing water of the word. Psa51:7 Purge me
with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. And the mistake many make, is to
claim they are without sin forgetting that it is in sin that we are conceived
and born. But, God has brought light through Jesus that swallows every form of
darkness as we confess and repent today. According to, Isaiah.43:25
- I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own
sake, and will not remember thy sins. Indeed, there is no other blood that can purge our sin away
accept the blood of Jesus.
Amazingly, sin is a weight and we must drop all if we must go far in destiny. The scripture above has given us the template to confess which can be done in the secret or the open from the depth of our hearts. Friends, our God is too faithful to cleanse us from all unrighteousness even in that thought state. So, as we hear the word, it is the light that shines into our hearts and motivates us to confess. And if we can understand how God sees sin, we will truly confess and turn away from any trace of impurity. I pray we shall walk in light as Christ has paid the prices by His sacrifice on the cross in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Oh Lord, help
our imperfections even as we have been saved from the power and force of sin
through our saviour Jesus in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, the sin you did
not confess today, can be the sin you will stumble upon tomorrow.
