Replace the burden with a new song

 

Text: Psalms 40:3 (KJV)

And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

Friends, the expression of song cannot be hidden rather it shows in our outlook. If I may ask, what do you wake up each day with? Yes, no matter how much you slept with heavy burden, let’s learn to rise up with a new song as we praise our God. Unfortunately, many of us wake up with our electronic gadgets which exposes us to different negative news and that is how we start our day with pressure again. Isaiah.42:10- Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof. But we are courage to rise and shine for your light has come because the greatest wonder is the gift of life. Indeed, anytime we see another breaking of a new day, we are to say thank you Lord. Your new song can turn that long list of prayer request to great testimony.

Amazingly, we should see song as a morning dew to our heavenly father. It is not an entitlement but a huge privilege therefore learn to put on your strength with psalms and hymns of adoration as we loose ourselves from the bands of heaviness. Let’s reflect on God’s wonders and not the burden of each day.  Psalms 33:3- Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise. Another thing to put on, is God’s word in your mouth as to stand against the whiles of the enemy. It is a mapping out strategy that takes charge of the atmosphere and set the day running in the way of the Lord. Therefore, let’s offer God our sacrifice of praise, as He inhabits in our worship. You can start today to shout Hallelujah which is our heavenly language in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Father, make my song of worship a weapon that will swallow the gross darkness before my day as I feast in worship in Jesus name.
