Hope in Suffering

Text: Lamentation 3:23-24(KJV)

They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.  The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

Friends, one attitude we must cultivate in a time like is to look forward because there is still hope even when the tree is cut off. Just a scent of water by reason of God’s promises lives one with right disposition. Job 14:7 For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. Unfortunately, many look back at the storm that makes them to lament over their sufferings, challenges and despair. Yes, many lives are full of sorrow and passionate grieve because of delays and frustrations. Indeed, looking back will make you mourn over losses the more. Yes, suffering is painful but be encouraged from the scripture above that his mercy are new every morning. Relax, God is giving us another chance, so, let’s hope in God by turning and expressing our pains to Him for healing in Jesus name. Therefore, let’s find consolation in scriptures.

Interestingly, I encourage us to awake our hope in the midst of the suffering because our God never fails. He is never late to his promises. And always remember, God’s mercy and grace is greater than any storm that we are going through. Romans.8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Therefore, while it is difficult, let’s put our hope exclusively in God and wait patiently for His responds. I pray we shall silently reflect on God’s promises during those painful seasons in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Oh Lord, may we build self-control that restores hope in the phase of opposition and life challenges in Jesus name.

ACTION QUOTE: Remember, His compassion has covered the grief of yesterday. Worry no more!
