Text: Philippians 4:4, 6(KJV)
4- Rejoice in the Lord always:
and again I say Rejoice.
6- Be careful for nothing; but in
everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be
made known unto God.
Friends, many have chosen a pathway which is contrary to
God’s command to humanity. Therefore, it is time to walk away from complaining
and murmuring, which has become very contagious in the society today. So, if
not for any good thing you can touch, we are to be thankful and rejoice about
life. We have to live a heart fixed on God and by doing this, we learn to count
our blessings one by one and not generalizing them like we always do. Indeed,
His goodness in our lives are countable if we sincerely reflect on your journey
so far, you will see several reason to rejoice again. It is important we start
to detail his faithfulness in our lives and destiny, you will of a truth be
grateful. Philippians 3:1- Finally, my brethren,
rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not
grievous, but for you it is safe. It is not a time to be grievous rather
safely rely on this dependable father.
Amazingly, to rejoice is an attitude which is a precious gift from God which affects our life in general. So, let us embrace joy and rejoicing today. There are so many escapes God averted on our behalf without our knowledge which happened behind the scene. Therefore, we should be happy and rejoice in Him because He intentionally hid all of those things from us which was against us. It is a mind-blowing reflecting on things He has done for us. The amazing part is that no matter the things that are not working; there are still quite a number of them He has been perfected. Romans 12:12- Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayers. And I pray, we form the habit of appreciating God’s presence in the face of challenge because we are not alone in that trouble time because His glory is covering and it is a hedge over all in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Oh Lord, may we be addicted to giving Him thanks for everything
because of His mercy in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember, it is a command that should flow from
within and to others .
