Honour to Glory

 

Text: Revelation 4:11 (KJV)

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure, they are and were created.

Friends, until we realize and give honour to whom honour is due, we might not fully enjoy the total package predestinated for us because our God cannot share His glory with anyone. The truth about life is that God created every one of us with a purpose and the undertone is to His glory and impact to humanity. But many at times, we fail to understand that, and this leads us not knowing how to honour God which automatically affects our output.  I pray that God help us in Jesus name.

Interestingly, many ask ourselves, how do we honour God that we cannot see Him? It is not meant to be so. We are meant to honour God with all that we have even in the works of our hands, from our bodies, to our dressing, our thoughts, our speeches, etc. Indeed our living is for His honour. The creator of heaven and earth deserves all of our worship. It says in Colossians1:16- For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him. He also knows the beginning from the end and vice versa, so give Him the honour that He deserves.  Did you know that the bond between God and you, gets stronger as you honour Him? Also, remember God has placed his representative to give honour like our biological and spiritual parents, elders and those in authority. I pray we shall honour God in all and for all both publicly and secretly in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.Oh Lord, help us to honour and respect God with our all and in our all not with eye service in Jesus name.
