The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth;
the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the
trees of the field, are withered: because Joy is withered away from the sons of
men.
Friends, we can move into Joy unspeakable as we embrace the
fruits of the spirit afresh today. Have you realized that in our society of
today, Joy is withering and fading away? Remember, Joy is not an earthly virtue
but divine, so you cannot get it from the happenings which is the mistake many
make as we seek Joy from wrong sources. Psalm 126:6 He
that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed shall doubtless come again
with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. So, there is hope to
return with joy as we have sown the seed of weeping and pain. The good news is that our secret tears, God see all
and He is here to wipe away our pain and restore our joy despite the dried and
withered experiences today.
Amazingly, Joy is one of the fruits we bear as we walk and
are led by His spirit. It is a benefit we freely enjoy in Him and we can all use
it in these current situations of pains, and afflictions of life. In the world
of today, what men put their hope on has dried up no matter the height. The
truth is that when your Joy is attacked, every other thing begins to dry up, and
also those who find Joy in God by His spirit, you will begin to enjoy unending
joy and rejoicing. 1 Thessalonians.5:16 - Rejoice
evermore. I encourage us to be intentional as we walk into joy today n
Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT:
1. Father,
may our Joy not wither despite the sorrowful situations around, rather may we
possess joy and rejoicing as we bear the fruits of spirit in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Friends, in this hard and stressful time, it is vital we
embrace joyful joy as we activate His presence.
