Dwell in Honour

 

Text: Revelation 4:11 (KJV)

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure, they are and were created.

We need to understand what we are created with, that will make us carry and dwell in honour  as many fail to walk in this space.  We end up thinking it is difficult or hard, that God will not accept it, which is a lie from the devil. Certain times, we ask ourselves, how do we honour God that we cannot see? It is not meant to be so. We are meant to honour God in our all and at all times because our life is His honour and glory because He deserves it as the creator of the universe. It says in Colossians1:16- For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him. He is so great and lives forever and ever, so let’s give Him the honour.

Amazingly, it should be done publicly, in the secret and not with eye service, but with sincere heart. So, I urge you to inculcate your hidden respect and honour in all, as we bow in Lordship of the King of Kings. The truth is no matter how powerful someone might be, we shall all lay our crowns at God’s feet-because there is only one king in heaven that lives and never dies. He alone is worthy of all glory, honour, and praise. Acts 17:24- God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands.  Friends, nothing should replace your honour to God even as it is expressed to parents, teachers, elders and society at large, as God is being represented by the people you see daily in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINT:

1.Oh Lord, help us to honour  God and not replace Him with our professions and objects in Jesus name.
