God Favour’s Hand

Text: Psalm 44:3 (KJV)

For they got not the land in possession in their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.

 

There are achievements you do not fight to get but it comes as a gift. It is not by your strength you got this far. As many have packed into houses they did not build, dwell in land they did not toil, enjoy vineyards they did not plant, got jobs they are not qualified for all these by genuine favour. You can’t forget many of your colleagues and age mates that are far behind your status today. Friends, until the Lord build the house your labour is in vain or less result. Let’s allow the hand of God to translate our labour into favour. Our efforts are like manual labour which has a lot of limitations.  It is the favour of God we need to end the frustration in our labour. The effort becomes enjoyable because of the scent of His presence that distinguishes our labour from favour. You have toiled enough and brought in little; it is time to roll back the net to the creator who is the source of the channels of our blessing. Do not labour alone rather, introduce the unlimited source at each phase of life. Your merit and certification for favour is not by your labour. Favour is therefore GODS SIGNATURE OF APPROVAL AND SUPPORT which has yielded results across board. But the finished work of Jesus on the cross qualifies us and not our works of righteous that any should boast. So do not struggle for man’s favour rather go for Gods approval and man will align effortlessly.

 

Ecclesiastes 9:11- I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, not the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happened to them, We have found out that the fastest runners and the greatest heroes does not always win races in our contemporary times. There are unpredictable events that keep reoccurring without the hand of God in a matter.. For instance, without favour a qualified can be disqualified, as the intelligent are not always the richest. Labour can make great men of ability with experience to be turned down; therefore, desire God’s hand of favour today and you can get to any height in Jesus name.

 

PRAYER POINT:

1.      Oh Lord thank you for your outpour of favour upon me and around my career by God’s approval, which has taken me to this place of honour in Jesus name.
