Fruitful Pasture

 

Text: Psalms 23:2 (KJV)

                                  

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

 

There is a peaceful and very fruitful leading, but the truth is you do not know the way to the promised land; only God knows it all. In this season,let us allow God to hold our hands and begin to order our steps. Always get God involved in all your journeys. You cannot go too far without him.  Do not start alone and involve Him later; this is what many do, and they pay dearly for it. There are many troubled and raging waters, but God led us away from such turbulence to quiet waters. Even in the fire and the wilderness, He knows the way out. There are routes that will keep you longer on a journey, but God knows it all; that your assumed short cut is a longer route in disguise. He knows the end from the beginning; let us allow the Almighty to guide us even today's little decision. We shall not be stranded because the fourth man is present to bring calmness during turbulence, in Jesus name.The Maker is the one that can lead right, and He knows all the pitfalls and loopholes of life. As a good shepherd, He knows the way to the green pastures and has the plan of your journey to the place of abundance and fulfillment. Why would you go alone just to be stranded, when He knows all the hidden obstacles and can direct you through the escape route. Allow God to hold you by the hand. This will make you have an advantage over other competitors in the race. His leading to the right paths tells us, there must be ugly paths. Proverbs 14:12- There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

 

Do not lead yourself, but instead, let God lead you when you go through rivers of difficulty and oppression. There are valleys and mountains to cross, but He knows the ways through the wilderness. You can be sure of a safe journey. There is always a still, calm, peaceful, quiet and noiseless route, no matter the level of chaos and confusion around us. Allow the Rock to hold your hands because there is a path of sure goodness we can follow, just like the tree planted by the river's side, always yielding fruits in due season. God planted that palm tree there, for eternal sufficiency, which is productive, and all its parts are useful. Psalms 66:12- Thou has caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.There is a place called beautiful, which does not show a sign of peace at the beginning, that is why we must follow God through in all areas of our lives. There is light at the end of the tunnel. The distance you can see on a trip is not the end of the road; some corners are not visible at the start; that is why we must allow and involve the author and finisher of the journey. Who you follow determines what follows you, therefore allowing God to lead you to cross over the still waters to the other side of life. A corner of calmness and noiseless triumph in this troubled world still exists.

 

PRAYER POINT:

1.       Lord, help us to lean on the good shepherd as to enjoy abundant flow in the midst of scarcity in Jesus name.
