Congratulations and Happy New month of July
Text: Psalm
136: 1,4 (KJV)
1O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for
his mercy endureth forever. 4 To him who alone doeth great wonders:
for his mercy endureth forever.
Beloved, we have passed
seasons in life that we should just reflect as to appreciate this good God. He
has been dependable and has walked with us in thick and thin moments and has
brought us to a wealthy land. WELCOME TO JULY. Our duty, I recommend is to be
grateful for all. It is truly not by power nor by might for the journey so far.
It can only be our reliable Father that have shown us mercy and kindness
because our livesare full of delights and marvelous happenings.Psalm 72: 18 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Isreal, who
only doeth wondrous things. Cheer up, remember, that challenge of today
is a walk over because you have passed through similar, if not more difficult
storms in the time past. It is therefore, too early to forget where God picked you
up from especially in those journeys where there was no way, He made a way, in
those moment of secret tears you are not left alone rather He wiped away your
tears. Amazingly, the secret for genuine thanksgiving is in “reflection in” and
“reflection of” the events. You must learn to see with the eyes of the gratitude
how He has lead you in those ups and downs of life.
Interesting this can
only be possible by an absolute confidence on the capacity of our generous
Daddy, who is generationally good.Psalm 118:8 It is
better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. This is not a time to make request in prayers
rather make it a moment of appreciation to our father who is always there for
us. Friends, I encourage us to create a
thinking and a reflection moment as to celebrate this good God by having a
fellowship time with God the father, the Son and the Holy Ghost in Jesus name.
PRAYER
POINT:
1.
Father, thank you as I bow in worship to
appreciate God for all His faithfulness in my life and family in the past 6
months in Jesus name.
ACTION QUOTE: Remember to reflect on the good of yesterday for a genuine thanks for
today and tomorrow in view.
