Enmity With Serpent

Text: Genesis 3:15 (KJV)

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shall bruise his heel.

Friends, do not allow the enemy play with your mind though we all go through temptation as believers too.  Even Jesus himself was also tempted in Matthew 4:6b-“If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee.”But He decided to withstand and oppose the temptation that is what made Him overpower the devil. We know that the fall of man started when the woman, Eve, let the serpent’s suggestion ruin her relationship with God, and she ended up going against His will. The funny part is that he came with a suggestion and not a command.  Wow, he is really cunny. Can you stand strong under tight situation? Also, how do you manage satanic suggestions that come as temptations? The truth about the devil is that he is a very subtle being (he even quoted the scriptures when he was tempting Jesus), but we need to learn how to withstand and oppose his tricks as we develop defensive mechanism with the word of God.

Amazingly, manyforget they have a seed in themthat can bruise the head of the serpent (the devil), and that seed is JESUS CHRIST. This seed is so powerful and can bring forth diverse fruits. He can defeat any show of principalities and power. The best part is that it is not only in heaven that He works, He also works on earth. It says in Colossians 2:15- And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. So, do not be threatened by that temptation because it is just a suggestion, but instead, activate the seed in you to overcome that trial. The amazing part is that this seed is very firm and reliable, and there is no situation that He cannot handle, so just apply this scripture in James 4:7- Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.like Joseph did when Potiphar’s' wife tempted him. So, I urge you to stand strong to achieve victory in Jesus name.

1.      Oh Lord, help me to identify and unlock the seed in me for my defense, in Jesus name.
